black history month

Black 历史 month is a time to acknowledge and celebrate the contributions and achievements of African Americans and Black people. It also acknowledges the suffering, challenges, and pain Black people have had to overcome. Marist's celebration of Black 历史 Month is informed by understanding the historical and ongoing struggles faced by Black communities and appreciating their resilience and accomplishments in the face of challenges.

Dr. Edward Antonio leads the Office of Diversity, 股本, and 包容. He partners with President Kevin Weinman, his colleagues on the President’s Cabinet, and 教师 and 工作人员 across the campus to develop a strategic direction for DEI initiatives, 建立社区, encourage and empower 教师, 工作人员, and students to engage with programming, and develop and disseminate educational resources in support of diversity initiatives.
